The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club (BMRC) is a Bermuda based motorcycle club that sanctions the island’s national motorcycle racing series. The BMRC was founded by David Jones, Sr. in the early 1990s.

The BMRC is dedicated to the development of motorcycle racing in Bermuda by providing a productive and safe environment for the motor sport within the community.

All BMRC national race events and riding clinics take place at the RUBiS Southside Raceway which is located in Southside, St. David’s, directly across from Clearwater Beach.

President: Takara Dill

Vice-President: Jecoa Burrows

Secretary: Shampagne Cann

Youth Development Chair: Kristin Divine

In 2018, the BMRC aims to continue it's growth as a vibrant club and platform for motorcycle enthusiasts who want to learn how to ride safely, race competitively and connect with international clubs and opportunities.

Along with the Committee, Takara Dill, the BMRC’s first female President, is committed to scaling the Club by creating new partnerships with the private sector and community groups. As Saltus Librarian, she brings a unique perspective and passion for youth development that will set the tone for new riding clinic classes and community programs.

The BMRC is set to continue on its upward growth and expansion that it has had in recent years. Members and sponsors can expect an active calendar of events, a strong public presence in the media, added value to memberships and dynamic exposure opportunities for sponsors and advertisers.

If you are interested in becoming part of our legacy, we would love to have you. We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to help our Club expand. If you have organised riding experience (particularly if you have professional race experience), consider joining our team of passionate coaches for our Youth Riding Clinic. Volunteer marshals and administration assistants are also critical to ensuring smooth and safe events. Contact us at info.bmrc@gmail.com and let us know how you'd like to get involved!
